Sarah serves as one of Mandrell's CFO Services' Assistant Controllers. She came to accounting early — dual-enrolled at Santa Fe College through high school, she completed her Associate's degree before she received her high school diploma.
She went on to Florida Atlantic University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 2019. Her work for the firm spans the heart of the monthly close — reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and the financial statements that go out to ownership at month-end.
In the firm's tiered structure — clerk, assistant controller, controller, CFO — Sarah is the bridge: close enough to the day-to-day to know the books in detail, senior enough to catch what the clerks miss, and trusted with direct client communication.
